    Perfect for summer nights

We bought this before summer started and it has already become a family favorite. Making ice cream at home is so much fun, and I love that there is no need to freeze anything ahead of time. The kids ask for it every weekend.

We love the Instant Pot InstaChill!

We absolutely love our InstaChill! The entire process was so simple and quick! In 35 minutes we went from putting ingredients in the InstaChill, to eating a yummy sundae of vanilla ice cream with fresh strawberry mix-ins, topped with our chocolate drizzle and whipped cream! The ice cream recipe we used was just 4 all natural ingredients! Adding the mix-in of chopped strawberries into the ice cream during the cycle was effortless with the built-in chute in the lid. It turned out sweet, creamy and absolutely fantastic! Clean up was also super easy! My grandkids had so much fun and cannot wait to try the rolled ice cream next!

    My kids absolutely love it

This has quickly become one of our favorite kitchen appliances. My kids love making their own ice cream after dinner, and I love that there is no waiting overnight. The texture comes out smooth and creamy every time.

    Great value for the price

I was honestly a little unsure because the price was lower than other ice cream makers I looked at, but this exceeded my expectations. It works great and makes creamy desserts every time.

Did not work for VEGAN, NON DAIRY

Bought it to make VEGAN ice cream using almond, coconut, and oat milk. I made two batches on day one and each time got an error message 10-15 mins in. The issue is the mixer should continue going faster for more water based “ice cream” like sorbets, non dairy, etc. These have little to no fats in them and freeze quicker. The issue is it freezes a large layer at the bottom and the churning mechanism gets lifted resulted in an error message. Each time I had to stop halfway thru and physically chop up the frozen bottom half so the mixing paddles would spin again. This definitely feels like a first generation issue they will need to fix in the future. I will be returning this as it absolutely did not work unless I hand chopped up the ice frozen piece stuck to the bottom

    Better than expected

I didn’t expect much at this price point, but I was pleasantly surprised. The machine feels well made and the ice cream comes out smooth and delicious.

Makes awesome keto ice cream. Rolled ice cream is fun.KETO friendly

This item looked a little flimsy, on the Amazon site believe me it’s not that you do have to be careful with it. Hand wash! However, I eat ketogenic and I have fabulous keto recipes that have turned out, not hard as a rock. Of course, ingredients matter my granddaughter just loves it even my husband is impressed. I make a custard base sugar-free, in my sous vide and then keep it in the refrigerator. I like a high protein, ice cream.

    Instant Ice Cream!

No more waiting for the cylinder to freeze, this ice cream maker is Instant, just like the brand.
The InstantChill is larger than my previous ice cream maker and it has a robust motor but it’s actually quieter. The bottom tray sits on the freezing mechanism while the blades turn the custard. As such the large freezing surface area makes the ice cream very quickly (22 minutes). Each option: soft serve, ice cream, rolled ice cream etc, is programmed to optimize consistency. I only tested it on the ice cream setting, but you can see from the video that it turned out great. The unit has a window in the lid so that you can drop in fun add-ins like oreos, funfetti or chocolate chips! It’s a fun way to get the kids involved!
The best thing is that if I wanted to make another flavor, i don’t have to wait for the cylinder to freeze: just clean the bowl and the blades and program another batch! All in all, following the well written instructions, the process was very simple and the InstantChill performed well. This will be a go to appliance for me this summer.

    Cool as ice cream

The Instant Pot Instant Chill makes ice cream as simple as set it and forget it. I’ve been on the hunt for an ice cream maker, in order to make healthy ice cream with ingredients I want, and none I don’t. Thanks to Prime Days, I found an enticing price and pulled the trigger on a machine for home.
The Instant Chill is an easy to clean, non too large ice cream maker that can be used for several frozen options – ice cream, gelato, rolled ice cream, sorbet, and non-dairy. The smart programs will beap with 3 minutes remaining, as a reminder to add mix-ins, if desired. I suggest using the included scraper to loosen up the frozen concoction, as freezing occurs from the bottom, which can become hard to lift.
I’m quite happy purchasing the Instant Pot Instant Chill. I can make ice cream with the ingredients I want, and will save money in the long run. I hope the Instant Chill will handle years of usage.
    Highly recommend

    Easy and convenient

The best part is not having to plan ahead. Whenever we want a dessert, we can make one quickly. It saves time and tastes much fresher than store bought ice cream.

    Works really well

The machine works as advertised and makes delicious ice cream. I wish the capacity was a little larger, especially when having guests over, but overall it is a great product.
